Maimana Kilim Runner - 168 × 69 cm (5'6" x 2'3")

A narrow kilim for a hallway or landing, woven in Maimana, Western Afghanistan.

Woven flat on a traditional loom: wool warp, wool weft, no knots and no pile. Reversible, and hard-wearing on both sides.

The wool is hand-spun and vegetable-dyed, so colour varies slightly across the piece — abrash, the fingerprint of a small dye lot.

168 × 69 cm (5'6" x 2'3"). One piece, woven once. Sold means sold — we mark it, we don't restock it.
